Awesome hotel and awesome service!
Marina Mandarin Hotel is located conveniently in the city area, where there is a linkage from Marina square to this hotel. The lobby was exquisite with the chandeliers and will awe you as it was huge and spacious too. My friend and I booked two deluxe rooms joined in one for our 21st birthday celebration. It was said to be 66 square metres on the website and boy, it was huge! We were initially worried about the constraint of space for our guests to play games and all but our worries subsided when we saw the room.
Besides being spacious, the beds are comfortable and the pillows are soft. Bedsheets are clean too. I believe most people will agree with me that comfortable beds to sleep in is a very important factor in choosing hotels no? Well, Marina Mandarin definitely qualifies. There are two toilets in the conjoined room that we booked and they were sparkling clean with ample toiletries. Throughout the birthday party, we need ice constantly to be added to our drinks. Room service was excellent as they delviered buckets of ice at our request. I think the rooms were sound-proof too, as we made quite a racket but only received complaint from other hotel guests once. The room has an oriental feel to it, that makes it unique from other hotels.
Overall, an enjoyable stay and I recommend tourists to book this hotel when they come to Singapore. Service is top-notch and the rooms are comfortable and clean!

Favourite Staycation Spot
When you set foot into the hotel and walk past the lobby to head for the reception, your senses are immediately soothed by the soft, relaxing music and the constant sound of water fall. The receptionist will check you in with a blink of an eye and you'll be on your way to the hotel room in no time. Their clever hotel layout makes you walk along a common corridor to your room where you can observe the non-stop buzz at ground level.
Whenever Hubbs and I check-in for our bi-annual staycation, we make it a point to soak our work stress away in the bath tub with our favourite suds and then a movie at Marina Square Shopping Centre followed by an in-room meal where we can eat in the comfort of our bathrobes! The bed is so comfortable that we frequently miss our breakfast period for the next day before checking out. Basic toilet amenities are thoughtfully placed in the bathroom but just note though that there are no bedroom slippers, so you might have to bring your own pair or pop down to Marina Square (easily accessible via a well-hidden staircase) to purchase a pair.
We’re definitely looking to our next visit in Feb 2013!
