Better than Marina Bay Sands, in my opinion.
I was fortunate enough to stay at the Crockfords a while back because my father was offered a free room and I must say it was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The only two issues I had were, 1) the lighting was kinda off [too yellow for my liking], and 2) the room was smaller than I expected [standard room]
One thing I look for when staying at a hotel is whether the room has a carpet or not. This room did have a carpet, and it seemed softer than usual. The bathroom was divine. It was very spacious [maybe 2/3 the size of the room], with access from the living area and room. Not only that, but it had a sauna in the shower too. The tub was standalone, meaning it wasn't attached to the wall or anything, which might be frustrating as the floor tends to get wet, but the warm water makes up for it. The room also features a pillow menu with a wide selection of pillows that you can call the front desk to deliver to you. From feather pillows, to buckwheat hull pillows, your head and neck are sure to have a great time while you sleep.
If you are offered to stay at the Crockfords, take up the opportunity. Don't ask questions. It's definitely a luxury that everyone needs once in a while.
