Good Beancurd

Before I had Lao Ban Beancurd, there was Selegie Soya Bean. Many a times, when we were not satisfied with dinner, my family and I would head over to Selegie. My parents would have a bowl of beancurd while my sister and I ordered their soya bean milk with pearls.

Selegie beancurd is smooth and silky. It is not overly sweet, but for those with a sweet tooth, the aunties there will gladly top up your beancurd with more sugar syrup. One thing I like about Selegie Soya Bean is that they have several add-ons such as black sesame or peanut tang yuan and black pearls, which introduces different flavours and textures to the dessert.

It may not warrant a special trip down, but if you’re in the vicinity, you should give Selegie Soya Bean a try. You won’t regret it.
