perfect for a hot day.
Tired of fizzy drinks, bubble tea, and starbucks? Consider getting a refreshing alternative to help you beat the heat from hic'cup! Many of the drinks served here are light and healthy. I'm very fond of the Yakult infused range, and also recommend the Hello Aloe drink, which is not too sweet, allowing the mild aloe flavour to come through. Unfortunately though, the drinks are quite pricey in general!
The hic'crepes are also worth a try. At under $5, they're slightly cheaper than Saybons, but of a similar standard, and very fresh as well! They make for a decent snack to satisfy any cravings for sweets.
Overpriced cup of refreshingness.
My discovery of hic'Cup came one fine day when I found a voucher going at 99 cents for any of their single-sized drinks online. I know it's already very cheap, but the really super cheapo me had to go research on the store and what it had to offer, and I guess the drinks were appealing enough for me to make the purchase.
I visited the Plaza Singapura outlet and ordered the 'Apple Appeal' flavour which is basically an apple flavoured drink mixed with cultured milk (Yakult) and honey. There's also chewy bits of some topping but I'm not too sure what it is, but it did taste good though!
All in all, I definitely wasn't disappointed, and now the beverage 'Apple Appeal' is definitely something I might crave for in the thirsty future... However, I feel that given the size of the single-sized cup, it just doesn't feel worth paying $3.90 for, so I'll be sure to keep a lookout for hic'Cup coupons and vouchers!
If you're looking for an alternative to the 'mainstream' beverages coming from Gong Cha and KOI, consider giving hic'Cup a try! You probably wouldn't regret it.
