This volcano is really tasty (and won’t kill you)
Tonkotsu Kazan’s signature dish is their Volcano Ramen, which uses an exciting new way to serve your ramen. The ramen and all its many ingredients are served in a hot stone pot and topped with a bright red conical metal lid, making it an impressive sight.
Unlike most of the specialty ramen stores around, Tonkotsu Kazan is as much about the ramen as it is about the broth. It has lots of ingredients, reminiscent of a steamboat, actually. The large bowls are meant for two, get the regular if you are eating alone.
After you are done with the ramen, don’t let the broth go to waste, they have free flow rice for you to soak up all the soup. The hot stone pot ensures that even at the end of your meal you can have hot soup to go with the rice.
