It's not as bad as what the previous reviewer said. The $9.90 set lunch totally saves the day! I had a sandwich thingy with watermelon juice for below $10. Of course, I'm not complaining.
My friend had the mushroom soup which was really good and they also have delicious omelettes. More $ for bacon! The service was ordinary and they actually gave us the wrong beverage once. It runs like a cafe where you get your own drinking water from a jar and also cutlery. Beverages can be taken near the take out counter too.
I guess it's a casual dining place / cafe so if you don't get your hopes up, it is actually a nice place for lunch / tea! The decor is not bad, really laid-back.
not worth the price
My friends and I were drawn in to Baci mostly because of it’s interesting décor, the menu is also pretty funky being printed on graph paper. Other than that however, most of the meal was a let down.
We ordered mostly dessert and one Shitake Mushroom Sandwich. I have to admit the sandwich was really good. The sauce was slightly sweet but not overpowering and the bread was toasted just right. The cakes on the other hand, were mostly dry and not very flavourful. The tiramisu was average but still, we’ve tasted better elsewhere.
Especially given the price, the food there was rather disappointing although the sandwich was good albeit rather overpriced.
