Pricey, but worth a try.
Located at the Esplanade, Mirchi's exudes the charm of an Indian fine dining restaurant. Step in and you won't be disappointed. The place is tastefully decorated by ornate Indian artworks and the lighting is sufficiently styled to match the artistic look of the whole place.
However, the menu is pricey. A main dish each for the three of us and a shared platter of kebabs set us back by $120. I have to admit, though, that at the end our our meal, our stomachs were full and our hearts were delighted with what we had ordered. In particular, their lamb kebabs are absolutely heavenly!!!
Though it might pinch at your wallet, I believe this fine dining establishment is well worth the price.
exotic indian dining
Mirchi stands for chili in Hindi, the most widely spoken language in India. As the name suggests, you can expect to indulge yourself in spicy tangy North Indian cuisine amidst exotic night-lamps and candlelight.
I have patronized their outlet at The Esplanade and was charmed by the ambience and reasonably impressed by the interior decor of the place. The staff is friendly and always sporting a pleasant smile. They are also designated to specific tables so you can call on them anytime.
They have a lunchtime promotion of 1 for 1 3-course set meal for around $20 and you can choose to have either vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Unless you are vegetarian, I would highly recommend getting the non-veg set as their kadhai chicken is to die for. Simply scrumptious. Do not worry about burning your tongues as no north indian meal is complete without a sweet-dish. A yummy one at that. :)
