Top Table is a fine dining restaurant initated by the Culinary Institute of America. This contemporary full-service restaurant seats about 60 to 80 persons and serves to train service and culinary students in the finer points of restaurant service and cuisine. It's menu changes week by week, offering three-course meals at extremely affordable rates.

The training restaurant is pretty much close enough to commercial fine dining standards. The food is not only appealing but is rich in flavour. Teenagers will be thrilled because the exquisite-looking dishes are perfect Instagram moments. The only down side about the food is that they run out of main courses quickly and the portions are extremely small.
In terms of service, it is adequate. However, the service staff seems to be under tremendous stress and apologises a lot, makes my heart ache when I see the manager reprimanding them.
Besides being a training ground for the service and kitchen staff, I see it as a training for myself to dine in an appropriate manner since I rarely patronise fine dining restaurants due to its exorbitant prices. You use like 6 sets of cutlery there, from butter knife, to appetiser to main course cutlery, it's really as close as it gets to a fine dining restaurant.
