Great food at not-humble price.
I had the privilege to dine in Humble House for the first time when a friend of mine held her wedding banquet here. I was blown away by the interiors and the furniture in the restaurant. It makes you feel like eating at the dining table of the royal castle but with a tinge of 'elves'. Sounds unmatched but feels good actually. Anyway, food was really good and for-a-good-change from the usual hotel banquet spread.
Gluttony intrigued, I re-visited the restaurant with a friend and once again, the food didn't fail us albeit a little steep on its pricing. There is this osmanthus ginseng jelly-like dish which is really unique and delicious. It is served in a very small portion and is savoury instead of sweet. I later on realised Humble house is a child of the infamous Tung Lok group, that explains all the delectable dishes. I'll love to visit and dine in again for good Chinese cuisine at Humble House. Gotta fill up a bit of the humble wallet first though.
