A remnant of the once famous Tip Top Curry Puff, AMK Original Curry Puff is set up by a minor shareholder of the group who continued his passion of selling handmade curry puffs. In this technological age, AMK Original Curry Puff is one of the last standing stalls selling handmade curry puffs. That means everything - from the rolling to the shaping to the frying of the puff, every single curry puff is tenderly made by old veterans. It is also fried in batches of ten, so every curry puff you get is sure to be hot and savoury, and so so good.
The genuine craftmanship comes through in the curry puff’s taste - piping hot, sweet and salty with a twang of spice and a hardboiled egg that crumbled creamily in my mouth. It was impossible not to buy some home for my parents to try, and reminisce of the good old days of traditional handmade curry puffs.
