Come Daily Hokkien Mee is one of the few hokkien mee stalls that strikes the perfect balance between wet and dry hokkien mee. Their hokkien mee is moist and flavourful, with the highlight being their sweet and tangy chilli which gives a refreshing accent to the noodles.

Amazing Hokkien Mee

I once laughed at the stall name “Come Daily” when I was queueing up for my first ever plate of fried prawn noodles - that is until I tried it, took 2 more servings of chili sauce, wolfed it down, and made plans to come back the next day. The stall name was already a warning; this hokkien mee is seriously irresistible.

If you are a chili addict like me, you’ll find that once you start you can’t stop, and even if you sniff and tear while eating many servings of chili-slathered noodles, you’ll still keep going. The slick gravy-coated noodles slide into your mouth and the salty-sweet bits of egg add a scrumptious accent, but the cherry on top goes to the chili.

I have never tasted a better chili complement to a good plate of hokkien mee that adds to the noodles instead of overpowering it. It was so good that I had to sheepishly reach out for 2 more saucers of chili while the stall uncle smiled knowingly. At $4 per plate for such a good meal, there is no way to keep you from coming daily.
