Worth queuing up for!
Fragrant coconut milk rice, crispy chicken and tasty sambal chilli is what makes a Nasi Lemak stand out. Having eaten awesome Nasi Lemaks from Chong Pang and Changi, I'd dare to say that this Nasi Lemak stall located in Pasir Ris doesn't lose out.
Ever since the stall was featured on Channel 8's food programme- (排排站, 查查看 : 超级小吃赞), the stall gained much popularity and became flooded with customers. As it was only a 10 mins walk from my house, I said to myself, "why not?"
Surprisingly the queue was quite fast; the stall vendors were really efficient and quick. For me, their Nasi Lemak lived up to the hype. I really liked the chilli. It wasn't overly spicy and had a tinge of sweetness to it. Chicken was crispy and the egg was cooked well. Overall it was good. Perhaps the only criticism I could give it was that the rice wasn't as fragrant as I thought it would be.
Due to its proximity, I think I'll be saying goodbye to Changi's Nasi Lemak for a while :)
