It wasn't up to standard.
The moment I enter the place, i couldn't feel the ambiance as it looks dark. It has a traditional concept, something like a Chinese village. Everything is nice except for the colors and lighting used.
There were many stalls but I decided to have Javanese food. I came across a new dish called Nasi Tumpeng. It's actually a yellow glutinous rice with different dishes which include beef or chicken rendang, bagadel and some ikan bilis (fried anchovies). It looks appealing to me but not when it comes to tasting.
It wasn't even glutinous rice which is supposed to be sticky and gluey. It was a normal yellow rice. The beef was too hard to chew on but the rendang gravy is quite tasty. The bagadel was good too but it's too small and the fried anchovies was too oily.
I don't recommend this stall because it doesn't deliver what it promised. Other than that, when I was at the stall, the staffs were too busy chatting even when they have noticed my presence. They only attend to me when I was about to make my order. I feel this shouldn't be the way because they aren't working hard to give the first impression of their stall.
