Constantly Making Rooms for Improvements
Singapore Sports Council seems to be the guru of improvements. All those sports complex under Singapore Sports Council are evidently upgrading itself constantly. Even the renown stadium at the East was demolished to make way for an improved or modern version of it. I recalled scrolling on it’s official site and being awestruck by the new sports complex animation. It boosted a wide range of amenities, pools, even several stores and other stuffs related to fitness. The architecture seemed impressive too. The animation made the venue looked like a building extracted from a sci-fi movie.
The most jaw dropping improvement by Singapore Sports Council would be the Singapore National Stadium. I caught side of the physical structure while we were cruising around in the car on an expressway. It looks impressive despite not being fully completed. It’s still under construction. It’s mammoth scale coupled by it’s intriguing design was indeed applaudable. Someone I know who is working under Singapore Sports Council told me that the chosen designs weren’t designed like that without a purpose. Apparenty, each design installed within that stadium served a purpose. One of the known purpose would be the roof; to shelter audiences in the stadium when it rains. I’d sound like a Stadium encyclopedia if I were to regurgitate every facts or reasons behind each design. Hence, I shall refrain from doing so and stick to simply lauding Singapore Sports Council for it’s evident display of multi-improvements
