Tempting Low-Priced Fashion, but not for Petites

Shopping for good quality clothes on a budget isn’t difficult at TEMT, where you can purchase tops for as low as under $10. Unlike many of the similarly-priced pieces at Bugis Street, what’s offered here is of stellar workmanship and made with sturdy material. Designs are trendy and switched up often, so there’s always something new to look forward to.

A huge disappointing factor is that sizes run large. The smallest size, S, is always still too overwhelming for my petite frame. There were many gems that I’ve picked out during my visits, but unfortunately have been unable to purchase any of them due to that very reason.

fast fashion for those on a tight budget

TEMT is in no way linked to multi-label store TEM, rather it’s a fast fashion label from Australia. My first experience with TEMT was at their Bugis+ branch when I was looking for New Look (which they replaced). I was at first a little put off by their store’s interior, which seemed a little tacky and boring. Their dressing room in particular felt very cheap and shoddy, and the staff didn’t seem very interested in being there at all.

Honestly I was quite surprised at their range of items, which were all quite trendy and of decent quality. They had a good mix of styles, with everything from basics to bohemian, and most were relatively cheap compared to more established labels like H&M and Cotton On. My main gripe with TEMT is that I could hardly find anything in my size as most were UK 8 and up, and their sizing was pretty inconsistent within the store itself. Another being the state of their dressing room, which was dirty and cramped.

TEMT still has a long way to go in terms of service standards and sizing, but I’m sold on their impressive diversity of styles and competitive prices. If you’re looking for a quick shopping fix, I would highly recommend TEMT.

Prices at TEMT tempts you to shop

For all those broke shopaholics out there, TEMT will be heaven for you. You know the feeling when you pick up the prettiest fabric and it feels so soft under your touch, but you glance at the price tag and a wave of disappointment washes over you. That doesn’t happen in TEMT.

I felt like a kid in a toy store, running around and grabbing all the gorgeous clothes under $10. Yes, you can get super fashionable piece for under 10 bucks in TEMT. They have a variety of basics in different fabrics, styles and colours - it’s fashion galore. Who says updating your wardrobe would cost a bomb? They obviously haven’t been to TEMT.

You have to visit TEMT to see for yourself. The prices are low, the quality is decent and the clothes are in style. I never leave TEMT empty-handed.
