CYC Shanghai Shirt Co Hot
Our company’s name represents the initials of founder, Mr. Chiang Yick Ching, a humble tailor from Ningpo, China, who came with his wife Foo Ah Neok to seek their fortunes in Singapore. Through the years, we have built a solid reputation as Singapore’s finest shirt maker known for the perfect fit of its shirts, quality workmanship and outstanding service.
Our flagship store is located at Raffles Hotel Arcade, the premier hotel in Singapore. We have two other retail stores located at Republic Plaza II in the heart of the CBD and Palais Renaissance on Orchard Road, Singapore's famous shopping belt.

In the past, tailoring a shirt was something only the rich, the vain or the very big would do. Even the shirts were rather staid and bland.
Once Alain Figaret came into the picture in the late 90s ( I think), the way they approach tailoring seemed to have an effect on the others in Singapore. Now, tailors seem to do their very best to outdo one another.
We, men, suddenly have the potential to have fun dressing up as much as our opposite number (they still have more fun than us as far as underwear is concerned). We are now able to choose the fabric we want in a myriad of hues, patterns and material. We can choose the design of our collars, cuffs and even buttons!
If every tailor can do this, then only master workmanship would set the best apart from the others. CYC is one of them.
I came across CYC on Facebook. I tried their application to design my own shirt and I had too much fun with it and decided to pay their outlet a visit. To cut the long story short, I got a very nice shirt tailored for myself for about $160 with little accents to make a statement about me. Workmanship is excellent and I got what I paid for.
Definitely, I am coming back for me to celebrate my next promotion!
