I'm a big fan of shoes and every time I pass by this shop, I really cannot resist entering it to take a look around (even though I know I can't really afford it). Most of these shoes are at least a hundred dollars and above, with exclusive brands like Juicy Couture, Miu miu and Marc by Marc Jacobs. The accessories sold here are also beautiful, as this place only imports unique designer items. My most fond impression of this place is how beautifully decorated the place is! Shoes laid out everywhere nicely, bracelets and other accessories in glass casings.
I really liked the Michael Kors Cheetah bracelet which they had up for sale once. But even then, the price was about 150 dollars, which was far too expensive for a teenager like me. However, visiting this place gave me some motivation to work hard and possibly, one day I may have enough money to buy something from here!
Boutique for all the designer shoes
The shoes are too hard to resist. You name it, they have it; yes, that's On Pedder. The first time I went to the outlet the Ngee Ann City, I was amazed by the shoes, heels and bags collections that they have, from Pedro Garcia, YSL, Chloe, Louise Gray and many more.
This is a high class boutique and you can expect to pay at $700-$900 just for a pair of shoes from any of these international designers. It even carries the handbags, designed by the celebrity designer, Victoria Beckham. The exquisite craftsmanship and the quality brings out the elegance in you. You might have to part with your thousands of dollars to own any of of the tote bags.
What I love the most is the footwear, I will be specific here, the high heels. I got one from Alexander McQueen and the pair is killing my feet. The heels are so pretty but no pain, no gain right?
For ladies who don't fancy wearing high heels but still want to strut down the road in style, you might want to get the flatforms. I don't have any, but my friends do. The collection is plenty and designed by many designers. You can always visit the shop and try them out and choose the ones to your liking and comfort. But, ease be informed again that they are super pricey.
Many guys including myself would definitely not love the experience of having to be dragged around by the girlfriend, shop after shop after shop of buying nothing. I honestly was not too delighted when I first saw my girlfriend fleeing into an On Pedder outlet in Scotts Square that just opened.
As I approached this shop with much caution, I must say that this particular outlet is really huge. It is like the epitome of all the best shoes and bags all put into one place and neatly displayed on shelves. I found myself looking at the displays and checking out the products as they were very enticing on the shelves and looked very fascinating. Although it caters mostly for women, the men are also not discriminated as there are random items that are uni-sex.
There are also fancy chairs on display that can be a nice spot for waiting as the female companions shop to their hearts content. Sales staff are also very friendly and I found myself being extremely patience as the entire ambiance of the place was very comfortable and not pressurizing at all. It is probably its clean look and sophisticated shelves that makes the entire place look very posh and high-end despite its various different selections of items.
Dangerous Pretty Shoes
The boutique carries many or the well known luxury brands in minimal selections, all in one place hence making it a vast variety of many different yet similar types of products. Being the retailer of many such brands, it is the place to find that bag from the summer collection, or that shoe from the latest collection of many brands like repetto that do not open a specified outlet here in Singapore.
In the recent collection, On Pedder has also brought in the new collection of Emilio Pucci to the newly opened Scotts Store. Emilio Pucci that was recently re-established by its creative director Peter Dundas, opting for a more edgy and contemporary design has produced stunning pieces like the satin clutch featuring iconic archive prints and couture grade leather and also the classic satchel bag. Besides having shelves filled with Emilio Pucci, the newly opened Scotts store also has many different brands to offer in its comfortable elegant looking shop. The avid shoe fanatic would be sure to go crazy with the likes of the very red Christain Louboutin displayed on golden shelving, Repettos, Stella McCartney and even Celine and Alexander McQueen shoes.
Paired with the shoe collection are a selected edit of bags and accessories from various brands. Its sleek interior store design paired with the high ceiling, without doubt does add an extra sophistication to the store. Upon stepping foot into the store, I could hardly believe the collection of shoes available as it was the latest collections of many different brands all put together in a massive store, very easy and convenient. I obviously, found myself stranded in the shop for hours contemplating on the shoes and bags as everything just looked too irresistible. The staff too provided excellent assistance, and I was exceptionally pleased that the shelves were clean and not dusty especially when most of the display pieces had spotlights. Convenient, but too very harsh on the finances.
