The Lobby Bar located in the main lobby offers a cosy, yet elegant setting. The inviting and warm ambience provides a relaxation for a refreshing cocktail, a cup of coffee or fragrant afternoon tea in Singapore, serenaded by live music in the evenings.

An ideal place to meet before or after a meal at the Sheraton Towers Singapore Hotel, The Lobby Bar offers an extensive range of wines, beers and liquors. Also available is a reasonably priced selection of tasty bar-snacks such as spicy drumlets, and fried vegetable spring rolls and much more.

High Tea

Recently a certain credit card is having a 1-for-1 promotion for its high tea set. I decided to take my mummy to enjoy the promotion since Mothers' Day was just around this month. The place was quite cosy with comfortable sofas and armchairs. Best of all there was not much people. Besides us, there was only 3 more tables occupied.

The set ($33++) comes with:

Assorted Open Faced Sandwich
Smoked Salmon with Cream
Small portion of Green Salad
Scones
Chocolate Tart, Rasberry Tart
Cheese Cake, Macaroon
Chocolate Savouri
A choice of drink from a selected list on the menu. ($54++ with 2 glasses of Prosecco)

For $18++ more, it includes a Chocolate Fondue, served with seasonal fruits and mashmallows.
There is also a Japanese Afternoon Tea Set which costs $39++.

I had the Chamomile Tea which was light and refreshing. It was in tea bag form and hot water was refillable. The tea was served with a small jar of honey, if one needed it to sweeten the tea.

The food was served in a 3-tier high tea set with jam and Devonshire clotted cream by the side. At the bottom tray, sat Assorted Open Faced Sandwich, Smoked Salmon with Cream, and Small portion of Green Salad in the centre. The sandwiches were simple and tasty, especially the one topped with cheese and dried fruit, which had a fruity taste and balance the cheese well. The salad was simple and refreshing. In the middle tray, we had Chocolate Tart, Raspberry Tart, Cheese Cake, Macaroon, and Chocolate Savouri. Cute looking and petite looking. Tasty and not too sweet. At the top tray, it was the Scones, served with juicy strawberries. Although the scones looked hard, but was actually quite soft. Topped with cream and jam, it was very tasty.

Overall it was a light but filling meal. Very relaxing place to pass the time.
