Perusing the menu of this attic-like eatery, you could be forgiven for thinking it’s having an identity crisis. Its menu is an eclectic affair, with entrées ranging from cheese nachos to garlic- and pesto-encrusted escargots. Mains leap from pizzas to tender beef cheeks slow-roasted in a rich red-wine reduction and tender to the last melting morsel, and, aptly, angel hair pasta with crispy tempura king prawns.
Heaven’s Loft Hot
A treat made from the skies....not!
Nicely decorated, Heaven's Loft is located at one of the upper floors of Orchard Central. Patrons can either enjoy the air-conditioning indoors or the beautiful Orchard Road scenery outdoors.
However, their food do not do justice to the incredible set-up they had in this restaurant. Their main course was ordinary, I had the pizza, which was a safe choice as indeed, it is nothing out of the extraordinary. A friend of mine ordered the beer battered fish and chips which is small in serving size and not as hot as it should be. Their desserts are nice, I would recommend their Ben & Jerry's Banana Split. Overall, their food is not spectacular but very expensive.
Staff service is as cold as their air-conditioning. There were no smiles and greeting as we enter the restaurant and when we made our payment, the cashier thanked us listlessly and turned his back on us to continue his conversation with his colleague. Very bad service in my opinion.
In conclusion, not worth paying a visit unless you are a B&J's fan. Food is very expensive and not really value for money.
