A Truly Authentic French Dining Experience
The moment you step through the oak double doors of this quaint French eatery along Tras Street, expect to be transported back to 19th-century Paris. The entire ambience of Brasserie Gavroche screams French culture and the impeccably dressed waiters add a nice, subtle touch too.
But of course, its authenticity can only be confirmed by the food! Two must haves on the menu include the French Onion Soup ($16) and Beef tartare and herb condiments ($34). I love the soup with its oozy, cheesy crust above a buttery onion broth. Simply divine. For the adventurous, their beef tartare is a good option. The creamy aftertaste of this ‘beef sashimi’ pairs so well with the double-fried french fries.
For such an authentic experience, the steep price point is well worth it and definitely much cheaper than a plane ticket to Paris!
