Not much is up at Burger Up
With it being the fast-food outlet that replaced my beloved Wendy’s in Golden Village Yishun, I looked at it with narrowed eyes. How dare you.
I ate their student meals with bitterness, although the affordable prices and juicy beef burgers did soothe me. The beef patty was thick and dripping with flavor, and it was especially palatable with the fresh tomatoes and lettuce stacked underneath it. The burger does get too oily sometimes, and the oil seeping through the burger wrapping makes the experience quite inconvenient. The fries are ordinary, dry and quite tasteless.
While Burger Up’s beef burgers do taste good, they aren’t mind-blowing enough to make me forget about Wendy’s Frosties. In all seriousness, though, Burger Up is only average, no match for the bigger fast-food brands out there.
