Authentic Taiwanese delicacy
"Same old Taiwanese food you'll get anywhere" - that was what I thought when I passed by this mini eatery on the 4th floor of Bugis+
My first impression of this restaurant was not a really positive one. To me it was just like any normal Taiwanese eatery. However one thing that did impress me was it's interior design. It's red and white walls combination is strikingly eye-catching. Great in catching the attention of passer-bys.
As for it's food, in my opinion, it's chicken cutlet is on par with those from Shilin Snacks. The one that took my breath away was it's sweet potato fries. By far one of the best I've eaten. The milk tea was even better. Their milk tea actually has 'tea' taste in it' unlike those from Gong Cha or Koi that just gives you a full on sweet milky concoction.
Price-wise, it isn't too expensive. They have set meals which also saves you a few cents here and there. Thus, with cheap and good food, Taipei Station is one I would come back to often and I would recommend others to patronise it's front doors.
