I used to be a huge fan of McDonalds when I was a kid and when it used to be way cheaper in price too. Right now, McDonalds have increased in prices drastically, a meal could cost close to $8 now. Of course this doesn’t keep people away, despite the negative health repercussions.
I treat McDonalds as my guilty pleasure and indulge in fast food occasionally. I’m not a big fan of fast food but I absolutely love McDonald’s samurai burger. The patty is tender and the sauce they use is out of the world. I’m not a fan of McDonald’s fries so I usually stay away from them.
The service crew of McDonalds are always friendly and cheerful, which always makes it a pleasant visit.
Mcdonald’s used to be a good bet for a cheap and quick meal, nowadays its just a recipe for an overpriced artery-clogging meal.
For many years I stayed away from Mcdonald’s after hearing its deletirious effects on our body, but I caved in one day after hearing that Seaweed shaker fries were back! While the seasoning was as good as ever, the fries were soggy and limp. The cheeseburger was also a lot saltier than I remembered.
With their numerous special flavours such as the Prosperity Burger and Samurai Burger, meals at Macs can now go up to $10 or more. For mass-produced fast-food, I’m not sure I will be willing to pay that price. Kudos to Macdonald’s for trying to up their game though!
Personally, I'm rather sick of McDonalds since it's the one fast food restaurant everyone instantly suggests when picking out a place to eat at. Maybe it's because I've been eating it since I was a child, but I dislike McDonalds' food.
Their burgers are decent (the fillet-o-fish one is pretty good) and their fries are a little bland, yet after adding more sugar, I realised it wasn't really the degree of flavour but whether there was any flavour at all, honestly. Their drinks are pretty overpriced but same goes for many of the other fast food joints in Singapore.
Their Vanilla cone is really good in terms of price (though it has increased) and taste. I love their Oreo McFlurry but it's really expensive and not worth the cost. McWings are nice but sometimes, they taste rather stale. The Apple Pie is good and cheap, though!
As I grow older and is more healthy-concious, McDonalds is slowly losing its appeal, mainly because it is just fast food. However, there are two things that will still keep me coming back for more; Curry sauce and Garlic chili.
I believe that these 2 sauces contribute to this fast food restaurant's selling point. Having experienced McDonalds in other countries, I would definitely say that ONLY Singapore McDonalds has curry sauce and without it, they would lose a lot of McNuggets fans.
Having said that, I really like the hash browns here. The crispiness is just right. Accompanied with garlic sauce, it will always leave me wanting for more. Try it and maybe, you will get sucked into this addiction ;)
McDonalds have been with me since childhood. Even though many will criticize that it is an unhealthy choice of food, who can resist the fries and burgers when hungry? Over the years, they have opened so many branches, you find them almost in every shopping mall in Singapore.
From time to time, they do introduce new things in the menu. They also bring back certain À la carte during promotional period and during festive seasons like the Chinese New Year. The twister fries is something I would wait for every year just to enjoy it.
McDonalds also have become very convenient and fast these days. Within a minute or so, you have your value meal up-sized in front of you. This makes it very convenient for people who are rushing on time or for people who need to eat on the go.
Their service crew are also a polite and friendly bunch. They never fail to smile even when faced with problematic and troublesome customers. My visit to McDonalds have always been pleasurable and I believe will continue to be so in the future.
Honestly speaking, I don't like eating McDonald. To me, eating McDonald is like eating trash. I have once seen a video on McDonald shown by my teacher on a physically fit guy using his own body to show what kind of food McDonald are giving its customer. He simply measure his weight and his body fat percentile before and after the test.
He simply just eat McDonald for his every meal up to 30 days. His physical fitness starts dropping after 3 days of the test and only to get worst after the 10 days until a point at his 20+ days when his body start experiencing abnormal conditions. After watching the video, maybe I somehow get influence, but I do believe that its best not to take McDonald too often. In addition, I find the Chicken burger they serve, not as tasty as what KFC is serving.
I prefer KFC though. If I were to rate, I will rate probably a 5 out of 10, 5 for the ice cream they serve. I love their ice cream though. affordable and nice. Hit Like if you got shocked with whatever I have said over here, thanks!
I love everything about Mac Donald's, except the normally long queue. It was my snack for most of the time, especially the Shaker fries! It is also the place I study with my friends, hang out or simply read novels. It is really an escaping place from home!
I love the fish fillet burger and the McNugget burger. All are so crispy and yummy! The garlic chili sauce is the most tasty thing out of all. I normally would spam the chili sauce on my burger. I used to order a small fries with 3 chili sauce. yes, it's THAT uniquely delicious!
I love the breakfast too, especially the pancakes! I love the fact that the syrup cover the whole pancake, and the butter is spread on top of the pancake. It was the best moment to start off a day!
On top of the great food, the crews are very friendly. There was once that I need to borrow a pen to fill in some of my documents, and I do not have it. I went to the nearest Mc. Donald's place and asked if I could borrow a pen, without buying anything. The crew just kindly lent me his pen, without asking much. This kind of sincere service makes me love Macdonald's even more!
I have nothing but love for MacDonald’s. Health issues aside, all of their food are great! It’s really unhealthy because everything is fried and I’m sure it’s pretty high in fat content, especially the unhealthy ones like saturated fats and trans-fats and their Oreo McFlurry has the highest amount of calories amongst all the orders in the store.
One of the reasons why McDonald’s is so successful despite the many controversies and debates over the years is because it’s open 24/7 and it can found almost everywhere. A Mac’s store is always not far away. Who can resist delicious food when they’re hungry? Even if it’s unhealthy, they’ll still go for it because it’s convenient. Also, they provide a delivery service which is 24/7 as well! What can I say but they provide such good services that it’s really hard to fight off your stomach’s urges even in the wee hours of the morning.
My favourite has got to be the Double McSpicy. Crispy skin on the outside, hot, succulent chicken meat on the inside, with a little spice to make your taste buds spring to life, that’s the perfect burger. The fries are exceptionally good too, having a golden crisp exterior that breaks open to reveal fluffy whites inside. MacDonald’s make a great supper!
Mcdonald's is a very convenient fast food restaurant as it is found everywhere! There are many outlets in Singapore and they even offer 24 hours delivery service. Hence, for those who are lazy to step out of the house to get food, Mcdonald's is just a phone call away! Since young, I have always loved Mcdonald's food and it really seemed to be the happiest day when my parents brought us to Mcdonald's and collect the toys from the happy meals. Such good memories. Till now, I still have many fond memories with Mcdonald's.
My favourite meals are mcnuggets and mcwings! I do not really fancy the burgers as much, till they came up with Chicken Tendergrill burger! It is quite big, and has mayo with tender and succulent chicken, totally spells yummy. The set meals are getting quite affordable nowadays, priced at around $4.50 - $6. I wish seaweed shaker fries or the spicy shaker fries will stay in the menu forever though, they are too tasty to be missed!
In the recent years, Mcdonald's has also incorporated the idea of Mccafe, which sells coffee and cakes for the dessert lovers. I love sitting at the cushioned seats at Mccafe with a mocha frappe in hand, and a book in another. It is a relaxing way to spend the afternoon. At other times, I will simply grab lunch and dinner there. It might get quite crowded during lunch and dinner hours, but their prompt service will not fail to disappoint you. The service crew always greet you with a friendly smile and are very efficient in serving your food.
Furthermore, Mcdonald's is always carrying out different promotions or introducing new items to entice you! The monopoly game that they have every year will somehow seduce me to have Mcdonald's for meals even more, as I hope for a chance to win some attractive prizes to be won in the game. During Chinese new year, they have the prosperity burger and curly fries as well. Recently, there have been many promotions, for example, 1 for 1 McSpicy burger, 1 for 1 Fillet O' Fish... See, they are always seducing me to their restaurants!
As there are not a lot of 24 hours restaurants or eateries available in Singapore, Mcdonald's tend to be the first choice of many consumers when they want to have a fast meal. Also, in the wee hours, when one's stomach is grumbling, he or she can always head by to the nearest Mcdonald's outlet (which is most probably 24 hours) or just dial for delivery. In addition, Mcdonald's also broadcast soccer matches, such as Champion League matches! How to resist going Mcdonald's? I am sure not many can!
McDonald’s can really be found all over Singapore and many outlets are now open 24/7 which makes it really convenient. What I like about McDonald’s is that they have a wide range of burgers such as chicken burgers, beef burgers and fish burgers. They also offer alternatives to burgers like nuggets and chicken wings.
I really like their McNuggets which are one of the best nuggets I can find. They are just so tender and delicious. Last time, I used to love their Chicken McCrispy but it has been discontinued and now replaced with the McWings which are much smaller and not as satisfying. Besides that, I like that their fries sometimes come in different flavourings like chilli powder and seaweed seasoning. Their curry sauce is one thing I always ask for to dip my fries and nuggets in.
I am a fan of their breakfast meals like their Hotcakes and Sausage McMuffin. Their Hotcakes especially, are just perfect, fluffy and served with butter and syrup. It always serves as a perfect brunch. Besides the main meal, McDonald’s serve different types of desserts like ice cream, milk shakes and pies. I like their strawberry sundae which is vanilla soft serve with strawberries and its sauce.
