good to go when they have offers!
I had a cup of gelato here for around $2 due to their 2 for $4.50 happy hour promotion. However, they have a 1-for-1 deal mpst of the time which makes their gelato quite worthwhile.
I think their store is situated in a perfect location - walking through city link mall, it's a great place to sit for awhile or to grab an on-the-go snack. They have many different flavours to choose from, which is another plus.
My favourite flavours would be the bubblegum and cheesecake flavours. Yes, the bubblegum flavour tastes kind of synthesized artificial, I'm glad that the bubblegum gelato is not too sweet unlike the bubblegum flavours elsewhere. I love the cheesecake flavour; non-cheese lovers do not fret, it is rather mild and pleasant.
If bubblegum and cheesecake don't whet your appetite, rest assured there are many other flavours to choose from!
Arguably the best in Singapore
I love gelato for its awesome taste and tecture – not too creamy, yet smooth and rich. I’ve been trying gelati from many different places, and il Gelato di Bruno is by far the best in Singapore!
I usually visit the outlet at Citylink on my way home from school, for a quick sweet treat. The store assistants at il Bruno di Gelato are very friendly, and more than willing to let you sample the different flavours before you place your order. My usual orders are Meckid, Tiramisu, Bubblegum, and my favourite, Mandarin, which is a perfect, refreshingly tangy citrus flavour.
A small cup of gelato costs $6.50, which is pretty pricey. However, the outlet at Citylink often has a “2-for-$4.50” deal that doesn’t burn a hole in your wallet. The ambience at il Gelato di Bruno is nice for little catch-up sessions with friends, so it’s a dessert shop that I find myself going back to, time and time again. Two thumbs up!
