Expensive but worth it

I've never really liked American cosmetic products, because I tried a couple of them, and the results were lacklustre. I decided to try out Bobbi Brown products because my friends have been raving about the products there.

Bobbi Brown's gel liner is probably the best gel eyeliner out there. It can be applied easily and stays on throughout the day without smudging at all! I no longer have to worry about my eyeliner smudging when I'm outdoors, even under the hot baking sun, which melts a lot of other eyeliners. Another great product is their concealer. It has awesome concealing powers, and doesn't cake easily.

Even though Bobbi Brown products are expensive, I think they're worth their price. Their products, although small in size, can last a long time, so don't worry about having to splurge often to buy these awesome products.

Quality product!

Decided to splurge on the much pledged about gel liner by Bobbi Brown and I didn't regret getting it!

I used to spend a lot of time trying to draw the perfect eye line with several products before this. With crayons, pencil liners and the likes. After I got BB's gel liner, I managed to cut down about half the time it takes for me to do my eyes! Just because the gel has a thick consistency that goes on smoothly on my lids. It doesn't require multiple coats if you're not looking to create the smokey-eye effect.

However, take caution in purchasing the right brush for application because a low-quality one would most likely cause you to have smudges every time you apply the liner with its messy bristles. Also take the effort to apply primer on your lids before the gel liner. It helps it prevent your natural oil from smudging the ink!

Concealor, 'nuff said

As your average student, I’m not rich. But I’m plagued with such TERRIBLE under eye circles which basically goes up all the way to my inner eye brow. Drug store concealers just don’t do it for me. So after much research and many days of stakeout outside their ion branch, I finally got the courage to browse through their products at the Bobbi Brown counter.
Service wise, they have much to improve on.

Since I’m a student and most definitely look like one, they will either give you the “once-over” or give the half hearted “can I help you?” line. Having said that, of course there are exceptions. I didn’t buy anything on the first visit, so I tried my luck again on the second. This time there was this friendly sales assistant who was very helpful and not judgmental at all. To her, I found my Holy Grail concealer and corrector!

The corrector basically neutralizes the discoloration under your eyes. You have to let it dry for a while before applying the concealer, which lightens the area. And no, both have very specific functions, so one cannot go without the other. They have a very thick and creamy consistency, so a little goes a long way! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. While they are expensive ($43 for corrector and $59 for the concealer kit) unless I can find a dupe for them, I’ll probably continue to repurchase! Furthermore, it takes a long time to finish a pot.I have had mine for around half a year already, but it is still not close to being finished!

Jaw dropping results

I first tried using Bobbi Brown's product in 2011 when I bought their foundation only because the counter staff was so friendly and helpful. That was when I started to fall in love with their cosmetics.

Even though their products are slightly more expensive compared to the more popular cosmetic brands in Singapore, it's still definitely worth every cent. I like how their foundation isn't so cakey and dry and it doesn't make my face look like I have 10 layers of powder on it like how some other foundations do.

Secret to temporary brighter eyes? Their corrector plus creamy concealer kit with the pale yellow powder! Although this would cost you a total of $110, its definitely worth it especially if you have very bad dark eye circles!

BEST CORRECTOR EVER!

Bobbi Brown, I love you FOREVER for inventing the corrector!!! I got the corrector in Bisque and it is HANDS DOWN, my favorite corrector. Previously I was using Skinfood's but it got too light for me and I saw that BB's corrector won a slew of awards and decided to plop the $43 for a tiny disc compact of creamy corrector. I did not regret it. It is super pigmented, creamy and does not crease all over the place despite its creaminess!!

My friends complimented on my well-rested eyes and they said I look much better. My dark circles are almost gone. Of course, I did layer concealer over the corrector as it cannot be used alone. The corrector is used to only neutralize the dark circles. It does not need to match your skin tone. A concealer is then used to cover the corrected area to match your skintone. $43 might sound a lot but really, a little goes a long longgg longggg way. I don't think I will ever run out of it? But if I do, I would definitely repurchase.

Loyal fan here

Bobbi Brown is well loved and popular among make up junkies. Due to its high quality and appealing range of products season after season, it is not hard to understand why.

If I could only own one make up item, it would be Bobbi Brown’s creamy concealer kit, HANDS DOWN. Though it does not entirely conceal my under eye circles (in their defense, I have really bad dark eye circles boo), it is more or less the best concealer I’ve used thus far. The kit consists of the concealer and compact powder to “set” the concealer after application. This is one product I would never leave home without!

Other popular items include its foundation and gel eyeliner (which many swear by!).
