I like to go into their shops once in a while. Products are cheap and of good quality and many of them are unknown brands. Their staff are also knowledgeable and can give accurate recommendations. Best thing is that there are many outlets that are easily accessible in heartland areas. So you don't have to travel all the way to one location to get something.
Cheap beauty products!
I initially thought Beauty Language was a small beauty store that sold imitation beauty products or something. But in actual fact, the products Beauty Language sells are not fake at all and the best part-the prices are lower than anywhere else!
The products sold at the store are extremely affordable, and they even have sales and discounts quite often, which make the products much much cheaper than other beauty stores. I usually buy my shampoos and body lotions from there, but they also have other products like perfumes. They also carry many big and well known brands and sell their products at a much cheaper rate.
Bathroom supplies wholesaler
Beauty language sells bath supplies at a markedly cheaper rate than other retail stores like Watsons, Guardian and Fairprice. They offer a reasonable range of haircare, facial care and body care products, as well as some other foreign brands that I do not find in elsewhere. Just a disclaimer: while some of the brands may seem strange and unfamiliar, they are by no means inferior in quality.
An example would be Korean label 'Chiett Professonal' (I am quite sure 80% of you have never heard about), which despite it's obscurity, does such miracles to my hair that it leaves me feeling like a Victoria's Secret model.
It also helps that Beauty Language frequently hold atrium sales where.....(wait for it).....PRICES ARE SLASHED even further! Lets' not forget that this humble store also retails perfumes at lower prices.
Beauty Language sells toiletries which are slightly cheaper than NTUC and Watson. In fact, they bring in many different types of brands and you can get almost everything you need there. They have shampoos, conditioners, bath soap, soap bars, whitening cream, face cream, facial wash etc. They even bring in big brands like SK II, and are selling at a cheaper rate.
Occasionally, you may even get better deals during their sales at the atriums of the shopping mall. You can access their website and see when they have promotions at which locations. More importantly, their staff are very kind, friendly and approachable. They can even recommend you products suited to your needs, with no hard selling.
I always purchase my toiletries from Beauty Language and I will definitely continue to do so.
Everything you need in one store.
I really like how I don't have to travel to different places to get my perfume, shampoo or conditioner. I can get everything that I need all under this store. My mum likes to visit this place because the staff is really friendly and would always recommend my mum the latest products available. They would genuinely tell her which ones are good and even advise her which ones she should not get. Such service is indeed one of a kind, and hard to find nowadays. I really admire how honest the staff is and how they are willing to give the best service to their customers, regardless of whether they will buy or not.
Also, most of the products here are relatively high in quality and imported overseas from places like Korea or Japan. This is definitely a place where I will keep coming back for more!
Initially, I though this was just another variation of 'Sinma' or 'Tazhiang,' and I was quite surprised to see many western brands of hair and skin care being sold in their stores. They are like this underground toiletries store. Their prices are reasonable, and their perfumes are also being sold at a relatively cheaper price if you were to get it from departmental stores.
My first buy over there was a purple shampoo for my blonde highlighted hair - which I had difficulty getting all over the places. It's either I had to get from professional salons, or purchase them from really pricey places. They sell a wide variety of different of brands and products - including brands that our local watsons does not carry. Awesome to more choices!
I know Beauty Language on the first impression may look like some cheap cosmetics shop on the outside, but in actual it actually sells many interesting and unique beauty products. You may think it is going to be some low-quality product, don't underestimate it. because you'll be surprise that they sell even higher quality products than in other shops! Furthermore, some of the products are not as cheap as you think it would be!
One thing great about Beauty Language is that, it sells almost everything about beauty. You can get shampoos, toothpaste, nail polish, masks, whitening lotion, hair dye... Everything is just available in that 5m radius! Furthermore, my mum loves to buy her hair treatment shampoo from there, because it sells at a much cheaper rate at Beauty Language!
I must say that Beauty Language is much better compared to the other Korean beauty shops. *ahem ahem*
Great place to purchase your shampoo and body bath
This is the place where I often go to purchase my shampoo, my body foams and from time to time, my hair dying products if I'm up for a DIY hair dye.
The shop is usually cramped, leaving little space for two to walk side by side but the prices of the products are much cheaper than any other retail shops you can get outside! The price difference is definitely worthwhile for you to dig into the small shop for what you're looking for.
The last experience I had with the service staff wasn't extremely good though. My gf was looking for a scalp shampoo that prevents hair fall. The polite service staff was amiable and patient to introduce her a shampoo which suits her hair condition. According to my gf, the first few weeks of using the shampoo was great and she really can see less fall hair. However, as the weeks go by, her scalp seemed to itch from using the shampoo, so much that she's rotating using shampoo now. Perhaps the service staff's recommendation just doesn't suit my gf hair's scalp after all but that's still not going to stop me from buying my products here for the price!
Bad service aside
What can I say? Refreshing fragrances, a wide range of products and most importantly, it's worth its value.
Make-up, nail polishes, body scrubs, hair care, facial products, everything!
A favourite of many, it caters to you, me, males, females, young and even the old.
Well, I never seem to be able to walk out empty handed, especially not when I am shopping alone.
Some items may be a little pricy, so catch it during their frequent sales or promotions. But most of the time, it’s really affordable. Personally, I tend to purchase more than the usual amount of hair products during their sale when it becomes much cheaper as compared to supermarkets.
However, the service staff may sometimes be pretty cold. Imagine holding a bottle of hair conditioner, waiting for a staff to respond while she continues to chat with another staff. How rude can they be!
Nevertheless, do get your updates through their website for upcoming promotions!
Stuffs you seldom find outside
If you are looking for beauty products which you rarely are able to find outside, you may want to try visiting Beauty Langauge.
The prices for their products are rather reasonable, and usually they provide really good and customized service to the customers. Once, I was looking around for a shampoo meant for scalp treatment, the service staff actually recommended me 2 types of products and patiently explained to me on the differences between both.
This is also the only place which sells my favourite eyelash glue! With such reasonable prices, the packaging of their products is also kept clean, unlike those found at Chinatown which are usually dirty and dusty.
