Kiss Me Heroine Make

I've noticed a surge in Japanese cosmetics sold at Watsons these days, and found this brand which I have often seen amongst Asian beauty Youtubers. Hearing that Kiss Me's waterproof mascara ($21.90) was life-changing, I grabbed one during my last shopping spree.
Initial thoughts was that the mascara wasn't anything special because the wand looked average, but I noticed that there were tiny little fibres which could lengthen lashes. Upon application I gave it the stamp of approval because it blessed my sparse eyelash department without clumping it to look like 3 strands of hair. With a bit of curling, the mascara works very well with Asian eyes that tend to have short and flat lashes.
I used to have a hard time removing the mascara, and you might find that Kiss Me's products are generally hard to erase off because of how long lasting they are. After burning my eyes with rounds of alcohol-based removers, I found out that oil-based ones work great to tackle that problem. Just gently massage them over your eyes before washing your face with water, and use a cotton bud to clean off the excess.
This is my FAVORITE eyeliner and mascara! I have been using their felt-tip pen style liquid eyeliner for 2-3 years and I love it so much I doubt I will switch to other brands. The liquid eyeliner is waterproof, smudge-proof and in the deepest darkest black. It holds up extremely well in this crazy Singapore weather. The soft and sharp tip also allows for precision without compromising on safety. One eyeliner pen usually last me for 3-4 months as I use it very regularly. The volume mascara is another favorite of mine. It adds volume to my lashes and again, its waterproof and smudge-proof. It doesn't clump as well, which is a bonus! The mascara formula is on the wetter side so I will suggest you to wave your wand in the air for a few seconds to dry it out a little before using if you're using a new tube. I remove my mascara and eyeliner with the pink-bottled Biore eye make-up remover and the removal process is a breeze!
Prices are really affordable at $19+ for the eyeliner and $21.90 for the mascara in our local drugstores and departmental stores. They are much cheaper (like below $10 for the eyeliner and $13 for the mascara) in Japan and Hong Kong so I tend to stock up on these essentials whenever I travel to these two countries. But even in Singapore, their prices are more affordable than counter brands and trust me, it works wayyyyy better than those counter brand stuff. In short, there's nothing bad about the eyeliner and mascara. Another A+ Japanese product :)
It's a popular mascara choice between bloggers as well as celebrities and is a hot-sell in Asian countries.
I got the Kiss Me Heroine Impact Frame mascara, one that seemed the best of the lot with a highest combination of benefits. If I didn't remember wrongly, it costs $20+ per tube. It's girly, with words scripted in gold. The wand has thin bristles for easy application as well as to remove clumps to provide long, natural-looking lashes.
Their new and improved versions of mascaras are said to be able to provide a 120% lash extension, as compared to their previous ones and it's true! I love the overall look and finishing of the product but the only thing that bothers me is the removal. It is way too hard to remove unless you purchase their eye makeup removal which is another bundle of cost.
My gel remover which works perfectly on other cosmetic products (cleans with one swipe) takes 3 attempts before removing most of the mascara and still, I'm often left looking like a sad-forgotten panda.
