Good initiative by the govt.
Everybody knows that Singapore's only resource are her children. Perhaps with an ageing population in mind, WDA was set up to improve the skills of the general workforce.
I myself have taken a couple of courses from the WDA, as these courses are recognised by employers and will be helpful to me when I enter the workforce. I find that for Singaporeans, the course fees are really affordable and there is a 90% subsidy! This drastically reduces the fees!
While their website may be a bit confusing, their customer service hotline officers are always helpful and are clear and concise with the information given.
