Peking Duck price increasing at 1 cent each year
Many years back Yong Chun Yun had a promotion where the Peking duck was selling at the number of anniversary years. I was there when they were celebrating 75 years and the Peking duck was selling at 75 cents. The year after, the Peking duck was selling at 76 cents. Now they are celebrating their 84th year and the Peking duck is selling at 84 cents.
Two years back we celebrated my daughter's birthday at Yong Chun Yun and was given a VIP room. The room even came with a Karaok system. It was during CNY and we ordered their Peng Chai, I guessed that was why we got the VIP room because the meal cost quite a lot, the Peng Chai alone was a few hundreds dollars. The Peng Chai was very nice and came with a lot of expensive ingredients. Having Peng Chai for CNY also meant prosperity and the more expensive ingredients you have in your Peng Chai, the more prosperous you will be.
