The Formosa Delights stall that I visited was the one at the 313 food court, and not the one at West Coast Road. I assume that the food should be of similar quality since they both bear the same name! For me, Formosa Delights has one of the best Ban Mee around. Although sometimes it leaves a taste in my mouth that reeks of MSG, it is overall still very tasty and worth it. They provide generous amounts of meat and they don't scrimp on the ingredients, unlike other ban mee stalls nowadays.
However, I think the one defining dish of Formosa Delights is their Dao Xiao Mian or shaven noodles. The preparation process is interesting because the chef takes this huge slab of dough and shaves off strips into a wok of boiling water that he then stirs around for a while. The soup is more authentic and personally, I recommend the beef version of the Dao Xiao Mian. It features generous chunks of beef with the shaven noodles and it's a very interesting dish and a definite must-try.
An idea of how much I really love what Formosa Delights has is that I buy from them at least twice a week. No shame there.
