Much to be improve
The signage imprinted on the ceiling to floor glass panels made me think that this is a pub playing retro music. But I was fooled. The live band that was performing played songs of the modern generation and the furniture were all modern.
Upon entering, a waitress was ready to seat me and my friend and we took a high table for just 2 of us. The menu showed various drinks and housepours priced on the varying of $15 per shot to $30 per glass of cocktail. We decided to order cocktails and sat back to enjoy the music. It was a week night; hence there were not many people in the pub. The drinks came quick and the music was good.
What I did not like was the lack of crowd and tall tables. They should vary the tables and chairs in the house and try to attract more people, maybe with signboards stating the drinks promotions.
My friends and I went there to chill out over a drink or two. It’s not very spacious inside. The tables were small and the 8 of us had to stay close but that’s okay. That’s how it should be anyway; all huddled together and chatting over some drinks.
The beer was kind of cheap. We went at about 10 plus. There weren’t many people around. We noticed that there were a few sofa seats which were at a more spacious area at the other end but only some important-looking men went there so we figured those were reserved only for VIPs. I think they should make everyone comfortable and not just some big shots. We’re their customers and we’re important too!
There wasn’t much of a crowd even when we left. That day, there was a live band performing but I’m sorry to say that it wasn’t nice at all! It was noise, not music. They played songs that we’re never heard before and it was just loud and unsynchronized playing of the instruments, like they all don’t match the sound of one another to form a complete song.
The service was so-so only. The waitress was quite willing to help us with whatever we needed but at the same time gave off the vibe that she was unhappy and looked down on us as we were the youngest there.
