Vintry Singapore in vibrant Clarke Quay marks the first outlet in the country for Wine Bar & Restaurant Group, Vintry Cellars. Also known as Vintry at Royal Selangor, the 3,000 sq ft outlet shares the same premises as the spacious Royal Selangor retail showroom. Besides a fine wine cellar and wall of wine shelves displaying over 1,000 wines library-style, also inviting are Vintry's four sleek Enomatic Wine-Serving Systems propelled by its array of 32 wines-by-the glass, notably Singapore's largest selection of wines-by-the-glass. Patrons get to browse and choose from this wine collection before they sit back and enjoy their wines with Vintry's signature wholesome Asian-influenced Western menu. The outlet's ambience is laid-back, cozy and intimate with its rustic, red-bricked walls and dark wood married with contemporary Royal Selangor handmade metalesce tiles on the pillars. There are secluded booths and intimate low tables for diners wanting privacy, with high barrel tables and a long tasting table for more casual dining. Whether one is looking for a comfortable place to kick-back over a bottle of wine with the good company of friends, a chic yet affordable restaurant for an intimate date, or a playground with plenty to explore for oenophiles, Vintry Singapore has something for everyone.

Not just a place for Wine

I've always loved this place, it's well decorated and the restaurant reveals contemporary elegance. A peaceful place admist the bustling Clarke quay. They seem to have a good selection of wine by the glass.

Initially i thought it's just a place for wine that's all but after exploring it, they have a unique range of fusion menu too. I like their caramelised roast pork, after a few pieces it can get too sweet and sick though. Unless you have a sweeth-tooth, i would recommend you to try their Vintry roast pork instead. The fried cheese is really tasty but can get 'jelat' after a few bites.

I wouldn't recommend this place for dinner but it's almost perfect for some drinks (especially the wines) and snacks. Can have a romantic night at Vintry for couples or call along your friends to this nice place for a good catch-up!
