This place is perfect for drinks. Most places that I head to for drinks have a good view (e.g. overlooking MBS or the flyer) but few of them are perched as high up as Fabrika is. The view from above at Fabrika is a refreshing change for me and the view from high up is indeed gorgeous, giving you the feeling as though you are on top of the world.
The ambience at Fabrika is comfortable and relaxed with a band playing in the background. The drinks are reasonably priced and the truffle fries are amazing. Great for winding down or chilling out.
Great view of the sea and lots of wind
I came to this bar because my friends were working here. It is just a typical bar. We had a boy's night out and ordered beers.
Firstly, the bar is very very well ventilated and windy. Even after a few pints, you wouldn't feel too hot. The bar is facing PSA Keppel and it presents a very different view from the rest of Singapore. It is a good place to chill out. Be it boy's night out or a couple chilling over drinks.
Prices here are quite average. I feel it is the ambience that is the selling point of this bar.
No standard for their cocktails.
I have always wanted to pay a visit to rooftop bars and finally i visited one with my friends. It is located at Klapsons Hotel and you just have to make your way all the way up.
I wasn't sure of the price till i saw the menu. I was indeed shocked looking at the high price that they are offering for just a cocktail. Well, i guess it was located in the hotel itself and maybe the price is meant for those tourists who can afford to get those kind of drinks everyday.
I don't really like the staffs there. I think they were running out of staffs that there weren't much people on the floor. I mean, running to customers' requests and taking orders. We had to wait awhile before they could even notice us. I ordered Long Island Iced Tea which costs about $20 for a glass. After waiting for almost fifteen minutes, my drink came and i was happy to try it. The taste was good but come on, isn't it an alcoholic drink and it supposed to be tasting of alcohols and not much of the other part of the concentration. I was upset to know that my drink tasted more like Iced Lemon Tea instead of the regular strong alcohol ingredients. I told the staff that i do not taste any alcohol inside so he changed for me. The second glass was fine but still lack of that high alcohol content. I have tried others that can make me spin the whole night.
