Not the best, not the worst

I have only experienced the bar side of Dallas, and the experience was okay, but not something I would shout about from the rooftops. It wasn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination, and it is ideal if you want a small private event as the area for hire is not very large, but it won’t leave a lasting impression.

There’s a cosy lounge area which I really liked and also a balcony if you wish to smoke, however the venue was a bit too long and thin for my liking, and it felt hot and cramped. This may have been because there were just too many people for the small area, and it may be perfect if there is a smaller party, I’m not too sure. I personally liked the balcony, however having drunk party goers on it could end in disaster, with one of my friends throwing up over it and almost hitting passers by with his alcohol fuelled vomit.

The location is really convenient, right on the Singapore River and walking distance from Clarke Quay. The views from the balcony are also really lovely and give a different feel to the typical bars around the area. Service was good and I honestly have nothing truly bad to say about my experience, it just wasn’t the best venue I’ve ever been to. Go in smaller groups, and it may be much better.
