There has always been a huge rave about Drips Bakery's bread and tarts at my workplace. My colleagues are absolutely crazy about their food and will always, more than occasionally, buy a bread or croissant to snack on. Don't be mistaken, I think their pastries taste pretty great but it is seriously so expensive that it makes my wallet cry. A slice of marble cake costs $1.90. Really? At the very least, they currently have a promotion of 3 mini pastries for $2.90 - I'd just think of it as a pricey and not very filling breakfast.
Drips Bakery is apparently known for their tarts and they strongly promote it to their loyal patrons. I've tried their raspberry tart once and the very first thought that rushed into my head was "it's no big deal, not worth $5+". As for service-wise, it's nothing too special - the staff are nice but not super friendly that I would want to chat with them. I'm not certain if I'd recommend Drips Bakery to a friend.
Note: They have recently added tables and chairs outside the bakery so that you can enjoy their pastries and desserts while sipping on fresh coffee. It is quite hot outside but nonetheless a good spot to be after a morning jog.
