great quality. visit during sales!
Most of the clothes stocked in Massimo Dutti are really classic, elegant pieces, the kind that may never be considered "last season" or outdated. The quality of the clothes are simply fantastic, comfortable and durable! A dress I bought two years ago is still in great condition now.
Furthermore, the cutting of the clothes are usually also very flattering, as compared to classic designs from more mass-market brands such as Mango.
The only downside I'm aware of is the extremely steep prices of the clothes, which can range from $100+ for a blouse to $300+ for a dress. However, the discounts during sales seasons can be substantial - do check it out then!
Worth the investment
I always consider Massimo Dutti as an upscale Zara. Both retail womenswear, menswear and kidswear. Their designs are very timeless, you can find really classic pieces like coats, leather jackets and leather bags of great quality.
Probably the only downside is the steep prices. Items here are even more expensive than Zara - a blouse can retail for about $80 and a pair of flats can easily go over $200. The only time I ever bought something from Massimo Dutti, is when I scored a basic white shift dress for about $60, down from its $100+ price tag.
Petite ladies, one thing you must do is check out the kids section. I've found leather jackets and ponchos in L or XL that fitted me perfectly, and at cheaper prices compared to items at the ladies section. Their designs for kids are quite suitable for adults too, so do check it out!
