Summer Tavern Hostel Singapore Hot
A little cramped but convenient location
I stayed at the Summer Tavern Hostel for my Prom Night with my friends in order that we could join in the clubbing party later on in the night. We chose the private room, instead of the dorms as we were a little hesitant to share a dorm with strangers. Sure enough, when we checked into our room, we saw the dorm filled with topless guys and we were quite thankful we chose the private room.
There is nothing really fantastic I could say about the hostel, except that it was acceptable in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. The room was really small and basically consisted of one bed and a mirror. In fact, the size of the room pretty much fit the bed snugly with a tiny little corridor for us to walk and put our things. Also, there is no lift to it would not be advisable to have a huge luggage with you unless you have no problems carrying it up narrow staircases.
The location of the hostel is convenient though, being in town and close to Clarke Quay MRT station. I think it’s a good place to stay as long as you do not mind being a little cramped.
