Great service and seafood!
I last went to Pariss for my boyfriend’s 21st birthday function and I can say that their service was really good.
The manager was really efficient and accommodating, ensuring that we got the best possible. The function room was pretty big too, where you can have a large screen, play your own music and decorate whatever you want (just don’t damage their property I guess). He even allows us to do a food tasting before the event so that we can give him feedback before the actual day.
As for food wise, it is just standard buffet stuff. What’s different is that they are slightly higher-end buffet. I remembered their wide variety of seafood and the gigantic fresh oyster! For those who did not go there with an empty stomach, at least try their seafood! Sad to say, the rest of the buffet is just what we can find elsewhere.
I think I will only go there again if I need to plan an event that requires a function room or for special events, since they aren’t pocket friendly nor exceptionally delicious. But their service is really thumbs up!
Mostly about seafood
I went to Pariss to celebrate new year's eve, the place was truly high-class and the service crew served us well. Since it was new year's eve, I was already mentally prepared that the place was going to be packed. I am actually impressed with how the staff handled the never-ending queue, my friend and i got a seat within minutes.
They served mostly seafood but since Christmas ended not quite long ago they also had turkey ham and roasted chicken. I especially loved their smoked salmon. It was simply well-seasoned and delectable. The oysters do not have a fishy smell to it unlike some restaurants I patronised before. My friend loved the Durian puffs there, they also served ice creams like how other buffets do too.
Well, this place is not really affordable but we actually got a 10% discount when we booked earlier for the dinner time slot. So overall, i think it is worth it. After all, sometimes the more u pay, the better food quality u can get.
Just. Enjoy.The. Food.
I have been to Pariss when they first opened in 2004 at Marina Square. Man, I was blown away by their wide variety of food on display! Free flow of fresh seafood (Fresh OYSTERS!), live cooking stations, nice ambience and eager to please service staff, I left with a very good dining experience.
With that happy memory, my hubby and I went there again last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary, this time well prepared with suitably empty tummies. Well, they certainly didn’t let us down. However, their concept now is a fusion of seafood buffet and Ala Carte orders, which were included in the per head price.
The food variety and freshness was of the same standard as my previous visit and orders were served pretty promptly. They could work on the plate clearing speed though. I had to stack my soiled dishes when my Ala Carte orders arrived.
BUT! I’m still happy to share that Hubby and I left deeply satiated after the feast because we were there mainly for the food.
Must try! (At least once in a lifetime)
