All thrill seekers must do this at least once
When my friend came to visit me in Singapore, it was an excuse to finally do something that I had been desperate to do since I first arrived. With its location at Clarke Quay, frankly I was surprised that I had not tried it yet, thinking that it would be the brilliant way to finish a night out. Surprised, but also very, very glad. At $45 a turn, it’s not a ride you can shout ‘Again!’ and then hop straight back on after, if I rode as many times as I wanted to, I’d have to take out a small loan.
The whole experience, in my opinion, is definitely worth it for a one off thrill. The whole part from watching others do it, to paying and finally getting strapped in just makes your excitement grow and grow, especially when I was told I would be the one that gets to pull the lever that drops us and starts the swing. Best. Day. Ever. The whole thing is over and done with pretty quickly and you’re guaranteed to laugh and scream the entire time, it’s not as terrifying as the reverse bungee, but just as much fun.
The staff who strapped us in were hilarious and really helped with the whole experience, but even if they had been horrible monsters I’m sure that I still would have had a really good time. A fun thrill ride to do every now and then, I do wish it was cheaper though so that it could be part of my weekend routine.
