Part go-cart, part toboggan, the Luge offers a truly unique outdoor experience suitable for all ages that is not found anywhere else in Singapore or Southeast Asia.

Giving you full control, navigate down 650 metres of the Jungle Trail or 688 metre of the Dragon Trail as thrillingly fast or cruising slow as you like. After Luge, board the Skyride and take in the fantastic panoramic scenery of the city skyline and beautiful coastline. Truly an experience not to be missed.

Not Just Another Sentosa Attraction

For someone who's mildly afraid of heights, taking the Skyride for the first time since secondary school was a pretty nerve-wrecking experience. However, getting a bird's eye view of the beaches and lush greenery below managed to calm me down. Grabbing on as tightly as I could to the safety bar in front of me also gave me an added sense of security. A word of advice would be to hold on tight to your belongings because once it drops into the abyss of trees below, you probably will never see it again.

The price of a single trip on the Skyride and subsequently cruising down a route of your choice on the Luge costs $17, but for an additional $8 you get 2 extra rounds which definitely sounds like a better deal.

If you're looking for a little more thrill, taking the Luge at night is a whole different experience. In darkness with nothing but flashing colour lights to guide your way, this is definitely one of the attractions in Sentosa not to be missed!

Great Fun!

I was lucky to have visited the Sentosa Luge when it wasn't so crowded. I had to wait for only a short while before I could start getting my helmets and getting on to the ski lift! The helmets are quite smelly to be honest and disgusting, so if you are a cleanliness freak, please do bring your own helmet.

The ski lift ride up was really really fun! It was cooling and it's a good view of Sentosa from up there. There are also cameras positioned along the way so do smile at them and you can purchase a copy from the main reception area later on after your luge ride. I bought one and it's currently pasted on my wardrobe. Good quality picture with a nice view in the background, quite worth it especially if you're with a bunch of good friends!

The luge ride is exhilarating. You get to control your own luge and steer it and go at whatever speed you want. Try to be a bit of a daredevil when it comes to the luge, because going slow won't be very much fun. Try to outrace your peers and be the first to get to the finish line :D There are straight stretches and good turns that allow for variety. Although it is good fun, I thought that it was too short a ride down and the route should have been slightly longer.

Overall, a worthwhile experience that I will return to again every once in a while.

Amazing!

This is always a highlight of my trips to Siloso beach, Sentosa! I enjoy the skyride up but I absoulutely LOVE the luge down! And crazy enough, I particularly enjoy the part where we have to jump off the skyride because it never stops, when it reaches the top. I believe they use the same system to bring customers up a snow hill at ski resorts.

The ride down is full of adrenaline rush! I myself love driving, go-karting and the works so this pretty much satisfies me. However, may be pricey as once again, this is a tourist attraction situated in the heart of touristy Singapore, Sentosa!

Downhill whizz!

This is fun. Absolute fun. It takes only a minute or two, but you can come back for more. Want to feel like a child in a go-kart again? Finding things that amuse that you can do yourself are rare these days. The mega zip, the luge and the skegways are, in my view at least, the most fun you can have on Sentosa.

Even if they do cost too much.

Sentosa-styled Go-Kart!

I have been on the Luge ride for quite a few times and I enjoyed myself pretty much! If you're above the age of 10 (or want a longer and more exciting ride) I suggest that you take the dragon trail. I'm not exactly an adrenaline junkie, and the dragon trail provided the right amount of thrill and fun! In my opinon it was quite a short ride though. Oh, and before the luge ride was the skyride up - it's like a ski lift and I suggest that you take the ride up in the evenings when it's not too hot and you can appreciate the gorgeous sea view and sunset !

Fun for all ages

There is a recreation activity that I think should be tried whenever I go to Sentosa. It is called the luge and it is part go-cart, part toboggan kind of ride. It is really fun and suits people of all age. It is very safe as well, since we are able to control the speed really easily by just releasing or pulling the handle. The path is not steep at all so there are no danger at all.

There are 2 trails to choose from, the Jungle Trail and the Dragon Trail. The Dragon Trail is a longer path and I personally think it is more fun to ride.

Thrilling!

Like the previous reviewer, I was also slightly apprehensive about taking this ride. I'm not too fond of overly thrilling activities nor do I like heights! But once I got over my worries, I was hooked on this ride.

I recommend that you take both the sky ride and the luge ride. The sky ride takes you on a tour in the sky and you can have a bird's eye view of Sentosa below your feet. Do take off slippers or shoes that are not tightly fit as they might fall off when you're suspended in the air. If you unfortunately drop something, there is a canopy below and your belongings can still be retrieved. It took a bit of getting used to when taking the sky ride. The sky rides do not stop and wait while passengers slowly get on. You've got to anticipate its arrival and hop on at the right time as it comes towards you. There are staff to help you with getting on.

Then comes then luge ride. It's something like go-karting and its easy to handle and operate. It's tons of fun if you go with your friends and everyone tries to outrun one another! You can also control the speed of the luge so you can slow down and speed up anytime you wish. My only gripe about the luge ride is that it doesn't last long enough!

Try these rides at least once! And if possible go on weekdays when the queue isn't insanely long!

Fun for both adults and kids!

I honestly did not expect myself to enjoy this ride. I have a phobia of heights and the attraction always seem to have far too many kids for adults to join. Well, the luge far surpassed my expectations and I would urge anyone not to be intimidated by the queue and just go for it!

The sky lift was scary, because it is exactly like a ski lift, and it travels way above the tree canopy. With that being said, it does offer a bird's eye view of Sentosa Island. Also, if you lose a flipflop, the staff will kindly help you retrieve it.. Or so I heard from my friend. Better not to try your luck though.

Once at the top, you take a luge down! It is very easy to control, and there are two paths to choose from, and from then on it's endless fun! It can go pretty fast so even though it is relatively safe, basic precaution must still be taken.

The only bad point: The safety helmets stink!

Fun Times!

Everytime i vist Sentosa, i will never forget this particular attraction, The Luge!

I really had so much fun with my friends and enjoyed the unlimited rides i was given in the Sentosa Day Play Pass. There will be an open cable car that will bring you up to the hill. It will take approximately fifteen minutes to reach. During the fifteen minutes, you can enjoy a wide view of Sentosa and how it looks like above the height of the trees. If you are scared of heights, i would not suggest one to ride unless you are game for it, then go ahead! As soon as you reach on top of the hill, you will be given a helmet which is to be used while in your luge. There are two paths but one has more curves and a lot steeper than the other. I chose that as i really like challenges in an adventurous setting. Nevertheless, these two paths will be joined towards the end of the track. It is really fun to challenge a race with your friends! But of course, be careful when there are kids around as kids are slow drivers due to their lack of experience!

Not getting bored even after a few rides

Skyline Luge Ride is absolutely rides not to be missed whenever you visit the sunny island, Sentosa. Basically, Luge ride is like a mini go cart where you would be able to race through different tracks of your choice. Both tracks would enable you to explore different sides of the jungle and if you wish, you could always slow down anytime. Unfortunately, the track is not long enough and you would complete the course in around 10 minutes. Upon reaching the finishing line, there will be a small traffic light indicating you to slow down.

Meanwhile, as for the Skyline ride, you could always take before or after the luge ride. The skyline ride would take you to the initial point where you rode your cart. The skyline ride is awesome with three seaters, where you would be able to enjoy the jungle view from above. It would last around 7-10 minutes. Meanwhile, don't forget to bring along your camera to capture those memorable moments.

So look out for promotions or student discounts for this ride. Usual price for the 2 rides is around $12. If you would like to opt only for the sky ride, you could purchase the unlimited ride at only $10. It is totally worth the price you are paying for.
