Li Jiawei is most commonly known as a table tennis player that frequently represented Singapore in international competitions. She originated from China and became a Singaporean when she was 18 years old.
She competed in Summer Olympics in Athens and Beijing under the singles category. She emerged 4th place for both of the aforementioned competition. She succeeded in attaining Singapore's first ever silver and bronze Olympic medal in Beijing and London Summer Olympics for the doubles category.
Recently, Li Jiawei announced that she was stepping down from her table tennis player status.
