Unconducive for study, borrow books instead!

Like the hardworking student I am (ha), I’m always on the lookout for convenient and conducive places to study. The closest library to my home, the Yishun library, will obviously become one of the contenders.

I’ve only ever studied there after my secondary school hours, but my attempts at studying for my A Levels in Yishun library were a bust. Like the mugger I was (ha ha), I made my way up right when it opened, securing a seat at one of the study tables. Eventually, the study tables were full, and far too cramped for my liking. I was constantly moving my books to make sure I wasn’t being inconsiderate, and bumping elbows with the person next to me. I tried moving to the smaller tables far inside the library, but they were too tiny and short for my comfort.

Overall, not a good place to study at all. I still visit here often to borrow books, though. Maybe it’s because of Yishun library’s lack of popularity, but the books I wanted were almost always available here.
