A quaint little store with everything from unique knick knacks to uniquely Singaporean trinkets, The Little Drom Store is a feast for the eyes once you step into it. A popular hit with both locals and tourists, The Little Drom Store is a seamless addition to Ann Siang Hill, a treasure trove of hidden gems and quirky finds.

An avid supporter of the arts scene, the store showcases works of both local and foreign artists. At the same time, self-conceptualized and designed projects that are inspired by typical Singaporean childhoods have also been created by the team behind the store as well. Popular projects include features on Singapore's kopitiam culture and even the old school mosaic playgrounds that used to dominate the childhood of the 90s kids.

Quirky knick-knacks

Stepping into The Little Drom Store makes you feel as if you've stepped into another country entirely. The store oozes with a leisurely, relaxed vibe that is completely uncharacteristic of most stores in Singapore.

Despite being small, the store has managed to utilize its space exceedingly well, cramming its limited shelves with possibly the quirkiest findings in Singapore. Think hand-made canvas bags, Singapore-themed tshirts and books, adorable stationeries, and unique accessories! However, be warned that prices are definitely not cheap. After all, each piece in The Little Drom Store is so completely unique and well-crafted!

On a side note, I'd recommend going on a weekday. The store, is after all, painfully small, and on weekends you'll usually find lots of pre-teen hipsters crowding the store, eager to get their own unique piece of quirkiness. And being crammed up in such a small store can be quite unbearable - take it from me. I visited The Little Drom Store on a weekend, and I was very much afraid of making a sudden clumsy move that could shatter those precious porcelain cups balanced precariously on the shelves.

That said, The Little Drom Store is certainly worth the visit. Its unique interior and concept definitely sets it apart from most stores in Singapore!

A lovely little shop!

On a sunny afternoon, I specially made a trip down to Ann Siang Hill to search for this little store I've chance upon while surfing the web.

When I finally stepped into the store, I was totally in awe by everything they have there. They sell lots of random knick knacks, handmade tote bags, design books and magazines. They have a lot of their own products which are very locally inspired, and some collaborations with other designers. They also have their very own in-house accessories label, Hug a Porcupine, every piece is conceptualised and designed by themselves.

In that small amount of space they have, it is amazing that they have such a wide range of items that intrigue me. The prices there are not cheap though, and at times like this, I would wish that if only I were a little bit richer.

In this little shop at Ann Siang Hill, The Little Drom Store shares the space with Kki Sweets, a cafe that sells Japanese desserts and cakes. So if you're planning to make a trip there, I would suggest you to bring more cash so that you can sit down, have some dessert, enjoy the wonderful environment and bring home a couple of trinkets.
