If you’ve always been curious on how to bring your still photos to life like this one above, you’re in luck this month. Head down to GIF Fest this October to have chance to learn from one of Singapore’s most followed street photographers on Instagram, Aik Beng Chia.
Themed “Illusions”, the inaugural GIF festival will be showcasing over 50 shortlisted works, submitted by both amateurs and professionals, out of the 500 which have been submitted through the Open Call held last August.

If you find yourself thinking twice about hopping onto the Halloween bandwagon because of the crowd, this event will be right up your alley. Skip the throng of people heading to Halloween Horror Nights at USS and board the Royal Albatross Tall Ship to experience an eerie 2-hour cruise.
While onboard this ghost ship, indulge in some of the Captain’s favourite concoctions, which have been curated specially for this spooky season – like Sleepy Hollow, Dead Man’s Chest, and Cauldron Brew.
