2. Drink up at Singapore’s only Oktoberfest by the beach

For most of us, celebrating the annual Oktoberfest in Munich is but a pipe dream. Luckily, there’s a wave of local iterations to tide us over. Standing out in this sea of jamborees is the Oktoberfest at Siloso Beach – the only one held by a beach. The best part? It’s free*!

3. Interact with light installations at Pop Up Night
Light up your ‘gram with these dazzling displays.
Just cause the night sky is out, doesn’t mean you have put your camera away. From 20th October, night strolls along Siloso Beach will be a lot brighter thanks to quirky UV neon art installations put up by local artists like Sam Lo – who some of us might remember as “Sticker Lady” – The Super System, sophO and Adeline Loo.
