Waffles That Will Leave You Asking For S'more

Newly opened at Upper Thomson, S’mores ice cream and waffles will put traditional Thomson buffs Udders and Salted Caramel to shame. Their waffles are soft and melt in your mouth - not for those who love crispy waffles but a godsend for those who love doughy waffles - and their generous scoop of ice cream and drizzle will leave you immensely satisfied.

My favourite is their matcha azuki flavour which adds just the right amount of bitterness to the sweetness of waffles and ice cream. While the texture of the ice cream isn’t as smooth as Creamier’s, it goes surprisingly well with the thick waffles. The shop is aptly named - you’ll be asking for s’more.

Not delicious

I ordered the Hainanese pork chop and the serving was huge and not delicious. You may think that I was silly to order a non-Western food at a Western restaurant only to complain that it was not delicious. However, in that situation you cannot accuse me using that logic because the problem was with the meat itself. Even though the sauce was okay, the meat was very tasteless. I assume that the meat used was meat that had been frozen for too long.

My friend ordered the carbonara and it tasted disgusting to me. Like the Hainanese pork chop, the carbonara was the kind of food that would get cloying after a few bites. It had that puke, rotten smell to me.
