Geographer's cafe?

The name of the cafe intrigued me. Was this cafe a famous landmark for geographers alike who congregated and shared their findings? Sadly this isn't the case but this cafe still makes for a very good place to stop for afternoon tea. You will get to sip your coffee as you partake in the historical sight of the Malaccan heritage. If you are feeling exceptionally hungry, do not forget to try out the tom yam sup which is absolutely delicious!

A great place to spend the afternoon as you recharge from your tour or walk.

Historical Building, Relaxing

Geographer's cafe is one of the must-go tourist spot in Melaka. It offer variety of food such as western food, as well as Malaysian food. I remembered one of the specialty from Geographer's cafe is the tom yam with coconut. They filled the tom yam soup inside the coconut. It's really special for me and it tastes good. And it's a place for relaxing at night! You could see lots of foreign visitors sitting inside Geographer's cafe at night! And most important is the price is quite reasonable. Sometimes they would have live band performance too! You should check it out! :)

Great place to relax and appreciate the history of Melaka.

Geographer Cafe is a nice place to visit during weekdays, the atmosphere is really quiet and romantic. On weekends it is packed and crowded with tourists.

Besides the usual beer and wine that they serve, they feature delicious local and western cuisine. My favorite dish there is the scrumptious Jonker Fried Rice, which is served with tender chicken satay. On another occasion I had tried the Mango Thai Chicken, which is a dish of the most delicious chicken bites dressed in a sweet sour sauce and comes together with rice.

Finally, to wash it all down, this place has fresh organic coconut water which is really cooling after all the spicy food and the hot climate.
