I was interested to join the establishment but the attitude of the salesman at the counter turned me off and I decided against joining anymore.
The outlet I went to was in Queensbay Mall. I went up to the coutner and said happily that I wanted to join the club and I was asked to sit. 5 minutes later a young guy in his early 20's came to sit down with me and first asked me what my fitness goal was. I didn't know what to say so I just opted to say that I wanted to achieve a six pack. He made a gasping sound and asked me, "Haaa seriously ahhh" kind of way to which I thought was rude.
The next part came the payment plan and the sales guy immediately proclaimed I had to fork over MYR 3600 for a 4 year contract if I wanted to join. He didn't even entertained my suggestions for other methods of payments which made me feel I was not appreciated as a potential customer. I packed my bags and left when he asked me to just use credit card and pay then I can slowly return the money to the bank. I cannot tolerate this sort of unprofessionalism and walked away sorely disappointed.
