Old and rundown
Among all the shopping malls in Kota Kinabalu, This place certainly earns the top spot for the oldest building in the list. The place seems pretty run down and I would not hesitate to call it dirty.
However, like the saying goes, old is gold. Despite looking unpleasantly dirty on the outside, I think this place plays a very important role as an all-in-one business and leisure center due to the number of shops and services provided in here.
Speaking about shops, the ones here are pretty decent. but it's still nothing much compared to the outlets that one might find in all the newer malls. Wisma offers a modest collection of clothes and everyday items at a very cheap price. However, do not expect to find a designer label here.
I also love the food court here. Lot's of varieties and the foods are also quite tasty. I think my personal favorite would be the pork rice of the stall near the exit. To top it all off, a desserts and beverage counter to help you quench your thirst and cool down. They don't really have a specialty here, so I can't really say what to recommend. The Milky Grass Jelly or "cincau susu" was pretty good the last time I was there.
Lastly, there's also a takoyaki joint on the ground floor which serves octopus balls. The perfect snack while you shop till you drop.
