Sometimes, there are very cheap items here for the affordable branded products such as g2000 and Padini. The items can cost as low as RM15 for a nice pair of shoes. I have heard rumours that the cheap products are due to them being factory outlet products but I do not know how to verify it.
I think even the high-end brands are highly discounted sometimes; I am not too sure as I do not know at what range of prices would be considered cheap for a high-end brand. The food here is surprisingly affordable.
Johor Premium Outlets, otherwise known as JPO, has been a hot topic on twitter for me in late 2012. Friends who have visited there are raving about the place being a shopping haven and that they have spent hundreds and thousands of their hard-earned money on shopping. Once the opportunity has risen for me to go to JPO, I got excited.
With such shops like Nike, Padini, Levi's and DKNY, I thought the hype would be able to deliver. Well, for one, there items that were being sold at Padini and Nike were of old stock. The items on display were a little dirty which was a big turn off for me. Although I still bought a pair of sports shoes, it still didn't seem all that great. If anything, this mall is great as there were tons of discounts when I was there but nothing more.
Lower price for Branded stuffs
Johor Premium Outlets has just launched on end of 2011. But it has become the one of the favourite for Singaporeans, due to great discounts on branded stuffs. It has facilitated with all branded goods such as Burberry, Armani, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Levi's and many more. And it always have discount on branded stuffs. In addition, it's european style architecture is another highlight for Johor Premium Outlets. It has become a famous spot for wedding photography shooting due to it's uniqueness in architecture. In a nutshell, it's a paradise for shopaholic. It's well equipped with a food court which selling all type of foods, ranging from Malaysian food to korean cuisine as well.
Although a long drive from my place, I felt that Johor Premium Outlets was worth a visit. It had many brands there for me to look and shop and for once there were many selections for men as well.
The good thing here is that the items mostly have major discounts especially items of past seasons. Since there’s no four seasons in Malaysia, I feel it is to our advantage.
After walking outside for some time I noticed there were quite a lot of flies around which made me lost my appetite and I decided not to have lunch there.(this is reflected on the score I gave for Satisfaction)
